Chang Zhijie Group Develops Novel Pulmonary Fibrosis Treatment and Completes Phase I Clinical Trial

The research group led by Professor Chang Zhijie at Tsinghua University School of Medicine has developed a method of treating pulmonary fibrosis through inhaled extracellular vesicles (exosomes) derived from umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells, and has completed the world's first Phase I clinical trial in this field.
